Peter Vickery
Peter Vickery is the Assistant Concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He studied violin performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with Alexander Kerr, and was a student of Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner at the IU String Academy. Peter was previously a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Indianapolis Chamber orchestra, as well as Concertmaster of the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to orchestral playing, Peter enjoys regularly performing chamber music, is a member of The Vickery Three, a piano trio comprised of himself, his brother Nathan Vickery, and sister Allison Vickery, and is the founder of Vickery Chamber Live, an organization bringing music to the neighborhoods of Indianapolis. He teaches a studio of young violinists, and fills the rest of his time sharing life with his beautiful wife and their six energetic children.

Nathan Vickery
Lauded as a “formidable cello soloist” (New York Times), cellist Nathan Vickery appears regularly in solo and chamber music recitals and music festivals around the country. Mr. Vickery joined the New York Philharmonic in September 2013, performing and touring with the orchestra at home in New York and throughout the world. He performs frequently on the New York Philharmonic chamber music series Ensembles at Merkin Hall, and on the Philharmonic’s new music series.
He has appeared as a soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and as a recitalist and chamber musician at festivals including the Marlboro Chamber Music Festival, Music at Angel Fire, Summer Music at Indiana University, the Perlman Music Program, and the Steans Institute at Ravinia. He is a member of the Rosamunde String Quartet , which is a collaboration with fellow musicians from the world’s top orchestras: the Berlin Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has served on the faculty of the Indiana University Summer String Academy, and teaches privately in New York City.
Mr. Vickery received his Bachelors degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, under the tutelage of Peter Wiley. His pre-college studies were with Susan Moses at the Indiana University String Academy
Allison Vickery
Pianist Allison Vickery teaches, collaborates, and performs in the greater Indianapolis area regularly. A graduate of the University of Indianapolis, Ms. Vickery manages her own private studio of beginning to advanced piano students. Additionally, she currently holds a staff accompanist position at Butler University and a church organist position at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon, Indiana. Freelancing for Classical Music Indy and performing regularly in chamber music ensembles completes Ms. Vickery’s professional endeavors. Away from work, Allison enjoys cooking, games, puzzles, and time with her two dogs.
